An estuary is that part of the mouth or lower course of a river in which the river’s current meets the sea’s tide. Estuarine environments are among the most productive on earth, creating habitats for 1000s of species to live, feed, and reproduce. 26 artists and 57 poets from around the world have come together in this full color book to create an estuary of images and words, art and poetry flowing together. Our consumer society is endlessly producing in order to throw finally everything away. To me it is very important to re-claiming and recycling this lost pieces, giving them a purpose again.
